The word on ABC Radio was if Pies won the Brissie game would of been Fri and AAMI game moved to sat arvo and the big money Pies Cats would have been Sat Night.

But Pies lost so Lions vs Blues becomes the bigger money Sat game

Oh cmon BB, a Victorian side VS a Victorian side at a Victorian venue, it will make little difference to saints fans or pies fans tactically (and also means more people get to go).

Just worry about when your own game is played :P I am surprised you get the night game, must be the AFL trying to put the blues in prime time of course to keep its fans happy  (see, anyone can make BS statements :P )

I am not going to make any excuses. I am glad we don't have to front the Pies first up as we do not perform well against them at the best of times!.

TB if it's not official I will jump through this E screen and choke your E throat!!!

So, does this mean, that if:
*If both Geelong and Stkilda win - they will not play each other (unless they both make the GF)?
*If Geelong lose, and Stkilda win - Geelong will play the winner of Bris/Carl in Melbourne, then (if won) will play the Saints in the preliminary?
*If Saints lose, and Geelong win - StKilda will play the winner of Adel/Ess in Melbourne, then (if won) will play the Cats in the preliminary?

Niether of those statements is BS cooper. Saints would have preferred the game at the Docklands because they play that ground better than the MCG, and the pies play MCG better than Docklands.

and Carlton got the Sat night game because they have more supporters than Geel or Dogs.

ABC has never lead me wrong before Rog

I thought Saints were to good for Pies. I've been hearing people saying that Saints will smash Collingwood so why care about where its being played when you say the Saints are way to good for Pies. Doesn't make sense!

We've been crying out for more games at the G for a fair while actually since over the past 5 or so years the most games we've played has been 2 I think, and in a 22 round season that is goddamn pathetic for a Victorian side.

But this outfit would not have preferred it, GT's would have, different philosophies. GT built a team for the Dome and saw it as his own sanctuary, Lyon however has stated anyone, anywhere, anytime and his Saints will mop the floor with the opposition.

I would prefer the night game for no other reason than it is easyer too see without the sun.
As far as playing footy, I would really like to know from a ex player how it compares with day footy?
I played plenty of training under lights with yellow Sherins, but the footy's were slippery compared to the day red ones and of course the lights were not up to scratch.

Oh, poor Saints. 20 Wins, best team in the league, yet as soon as they have to play at the MCG, they start to sook..What is is, you not good enough at the MCG??
Honestly (spelling), with Saints being that good, it won't really make a difference....
