So he wants to leave North Melbourne, could be a viable trade for most clubs who need a clearance player, what do you think North would want and who would most likely need him?

Wouldn't actually mind him in a Saints jumper myself, although I don't see it happening.

I was thinking backup, for when Ball or Hayes gets injured since I'm hoping we offload Princess Fiora sometime next season, although ultimately I did agree in that i don't see it happening since he's a risk even as a backup.

Harris has been int he system 8 years and was #14 pick, so I think North would want a fair bit for him, probably 2nd round pick and decent player who may be underperforming at said club for swappage.

Harris is not a star player, best North should get for him this year is a 3rd round pick. This draft is very good.

I would like Daniel Harris at Collingwood. We need another midfielder and we could get him cheap and might get rid of ben johnson in the process.

If we trade 3rd round pick and player for Harris, I'd prefer it be rhyce than Johnson.

Johnson had a bit of a dog of a year this year, but 2-3 years ago he was playing well, training with Dane Swan to improve. He moves like a crab which not many players can do.

A slow midfielder with average skills - I think Freo has an opening!

Maybe the Pies can allow the Roos to wear non-clashing shorts instead of skirts at the next Pies / Kangas encounter, for Harris.

Your Kidding right?

He is one of the top clearance players in the league and has been for several years.

A third round pick offer would be an insult. No wonder the Pies never land a player in trade week if thats the general attitude.

Depending on Didak's availability there is a chance he will end at Port for pick 22 and Adam Thompson.

Tigers also interested.

You are a fool mate, why would we trade our best player for a hack and a 2nd rounder  . You idiot, you can hang on to Harris as well, hold out for a first rounder if your so insulted. You'll never get it Harris is too slow.
If Port want Didak the price is picks 4 and 22 at the very least.

Come on, let's throw Harris a lifeline and clear the decks - rhyce for harris plus a couple of nice new del monti suits.

Yeah we'll take him, but for no more than pick 45 and B Johnson/R Shaw.
Harris is very slow and his concentration isn't great, but he can win clearances, so we'll take him if the price is right.

Ok seems i phrased this badly

Was implying that Ports first choice of trade would be Didak and i would assume that would involve pick 4 in some way.

If that fails.

They may well look at 22 and Adam Thompson for Harris, May also end up being Thompson and a 3rd round pick.

That clear it up?

Laidley just said there was no interest in Harris. But he has put McIntosh on the table - now that should get some nibbles!

Thats ok then, but I still don't think Harris will get better than a 3rd rounder + a player. Pick 38 + Thompson is more likley.

I thought he said there had been interest in McIntosh and if the deal was right they would consider it.
